How to Fix the “This Site Can’t Be Reached” Problem

The “This site can’t be reached” is the problem that an internet user must be faced while using the website? It can be frustrating to a consumer because it loses focus on the website and is frustrating.

1. Check Your Internet Connection

* Type the command "ipconfig /flushdns"

* Press Enter 


5. Change DNS Server

Steps for Windows:

Go to the Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center

* Click on Change adapter settings

* Right-click on your active connection > Properties

* Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) > Click Properties

* Choose Use the following DNS server addresses

Preferred DNS: 8.8.8.8

Alternate DNS: 8.8.4.4

Click OK 


6. Restart Router

Sometimes a simple restart of your wifi can solve the whole problem

7. Temporarily Disable Antivirus or Firewall

Sometimes your antivirus may be blocking some sites. Make sure you disable them temporarily and, after work enable them again.
 

 8. Try a Different Browser or Device

The issue may be related to your browser. Trying to open the site in a different browser to make sure the site is running or not and find the issue.

9. Check Website Status

  If the problem is on a website, the site may be down use different tools to detect the website status.
